Building Stronger Communities Conference 5th April 2014
Momentum is gathering pace for this FREE conference! Don't miss out on your opportunty to come along and make the most of the market place featuring stalls of information on environmental issues, healthier lifestyles, young people’s activities, crime prevention and more.
Our well-respected keynote speaker Peter Couchman, Chief Executive of the Plunkett Foundation brings a wealth of exerience and knowledge and will inspire attendees with real life examples of community-owned projects in rural communities.
Workshops will cover a wide variety of topics including social media forums, how to attract funding, running successful community projects, emergency planning and setting up elderly befriending schemes to name but a few.
The event is open to the public and voluntary groups keen to make a difference in their communities.
