Do you love our beautiful waterways? Are you interested in their history? Would you like to come and help protect their unique biodiversity? Come and join the The Conservation Volunteers CANAL CREW!
They'll be running volunteering activities along the beautiful Kennet and Avon Canal every Tuesday. The first session will be on Tuesday 12th May at the early 18th Century Sheffield Lock, near Burghfield.
They will be carrying out various activities to keep these historic locks looking fantastic. You will have the opportunity to paint the locks and bollards, carry out some edging, cleaning signs, brushing and many other tasks.
Like all their events, they will provide all the training and equipment you need, so no previous experience is necessary.
