Wendy Dacey, our Community Buildings Adviser, held a workshop on Health & Safety in Community Buildings. The session provided information to community building volunteers about their responsibilities for good health and safety practice in their halls as well as carrying out a practical risk assessment of the venue.
The session included a practical risk assessment of Theale Village Hall which was highly praised by the attendees. Participants at the workshop enjoyed the course and felt they could use the information to run their halls in an improved way. Some of the feedback included:
