Job vacancy at Bracknell Forest Voluntary Action


Role:               Community Project Coordinator
Part-Time:      15 hours per week
Salary:            £23,500 pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Project Coordinator that combines both operational and strategic skills and we are looking for a candidate with previous experience in community development together with knowledge of working in partnership with a range of statutory and voluntary organisations.

The purpose of this role is to support the development of community capacity and community engagement in Bracknell Forest Borough by preparing and empowering local communities, groups and individuals, through the delivery of advice, training and grassroots capacity building, to deliver community services themselves.

The overall aim that sits behind this role is to support the creation of a local environment where it is easy for communities to do things for themselves about issues that matter to them.
