New Year, New Career?

If your considering a new career in the new year or a return to work after some time away from the working life then The National Careers Service could help you.

The National Careers Service provides an independent and impartial information, advice and guidance service on work skills, career advice and learning opportunities for adults who are aged 19+.

Karen and her advisers are able to provide 3 free follow-on sessions which may be on a group or 1:1 basis.  Karen is also happy to come out to different venues and talk to groups.  Sessions can focus on job search skills, job applications, CV writing and interview skills.

In addition booked appointments only (not drop-in) can be made with the National Careers Service (0800 100 900) at the following venues in West Berkshire:

Newbury Library - all day Wednesday
Thatcham Library - every other Thursday morning
Savacentre (upstairs next to Newbury College Calcot Community Learning Centre)  - from January every Friday morning.
Sovereign Housing - every other Thursday morning.
